Invisalign

Invisalign is the revolutionary technology that has transformed over 4 million smiles since 2000. We’re proud to be a premier provider of Invisalign in Norfolk and Suffolk, giving our patients a simple, gradual, almost invisible way to move teeth for a perfect smile.

* Clear- nearly invisible
* Comfortable- no metal brackets or wires to cause discomfort
* Removable- continue eating and drinking what you want and continue with your normal oral hygiene routine
* More time efficient- less breakages than traditional fixed braces and less time in the chair with the comfort of changing aligners at home
* See virtual results with our outcome simulator before starting treatment

Invisalign works by using a series of custom made aligners. We'll take a scan or impression of your teeth and send them to the lab. A computer system will calculate the final desired end position of your teeth and generate 3d models for a series of aligners. Roughly between 1 and 3 weeks, you'll change the aligner for the next in the series, slowly moving your teeth into the final position.

Invisalign can help with all sorts of malocclusion where the teeth are not in the correct position.
Better teeth position doesn't just make you feel better- they are easier to keep clean preventing tooth decay and reducing wear and abrasion to delicate enamel.

Frequently asked questions about Invisalign

  • Will Invisalign work for me?

    At your consultation your Invisalign provider will tell you which package you are suitable for and an outcome simulation can be provided (dependant on practice) so you can see your provisional outcome. From here you are able to decide whether you wish to commence treatment.

  • How long will I have to wear my Invisalign aligner?

    Invisalign aligners need to be worn for a minimum of 22 hours a day, taken out only for eating and brushing.

    The total duration of treatment depends on the complexity of the treatment and is generally comparable to that of traditional braces.

    Typically treatment can last between 12 to 18 months. During your consultation your dentist will be able to give you a clearer indication.

  • Will Invisalign affect my speech?

    Majority of patients proclaim no effect on speech. However, there will be an initial adjustment period due to having something new in the mouth.
