Missing Teeth

Adults aged 20+ are at an increased risk of teeth decaying which could lead to them falling or being pulled out. A recent study stated that the average adult aged between 20-64 has at least 3 missing or decayed teeth.

Environmental factors are sometimes linked to the cause of missing teeth such as virus infections, toxins or if you are exposed to chemo or radiotherapy. That being said, most cases are genetic factors that have been passed down. Other reasons for loss of teeth could be through an accident or done in an attempt to create space in your mouth.

Regardless of the reason, missing teeth can make you feel self-conscious about our smile and encourage you to seek professional advice for treatment options.
